I hold advanced specialist training cert. in counselling children and young people. With extensive experience working in mainstream schools, specialist education provisions and local counselling organisations, I understand the challenges that you may be facing at school or in other areas of your life.

I fundamentally believe in supporting Neurodiverse clients to cultivate the life you want to lead. You may have experienced difficulty from a society or education system that does not fully understand you. I aim to work with you holistically, rather than from a medical model that focuses only on a diagnosis. I can support you, with a compassion focused approach, to not only explore the challenges you are facing but also celebrate the incredible parts of you.

My trauma-informed approach means that we can zoom out and explore how life, both past and present, may be contributing to the challenges that you are facing currently. This way of practicing focuses on you as a whole person and empowers you to make sustainable positive change.

My experience includes long term, exploration based approaches which can help to process past experiences, navigate relational challenges and cultivate sustainable change. I have also trained and worked extensively in brief, solution focused therapy which can be helpful if you have a specific goal or challenge in mind.
